The soul becomes light in the space between sky and sea,
Reverberating in unison with them.
Surpassing time to be gradually reborn,
From past memories,
From landscapes deep in memory.

Memories of Childhood.
The smell of the sea, the smell of the wind, the smell of the earth,
The soft light
That gently envelopes me.
I can feel these rhythms of the island through my body.
Then I step onto the earth of Amami once more and stretching out both my arms
I take a deep breath.
