The me that is pure and virginal and without stain, and the wanton me that is thrust along by a whole plethora of very real, animal instincts and drives—the images here express a world fractured between those two selves. The girlish, dreamy ideals inhabiting my head are ripped to tatters by the fully grown woman that I also am.
